Hello Everyone!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND 

to all my U.S.A. Friends!

Today I have a creation to share using 'two' of the new dies

from the new JULY RELEASE at the Tutti Designs Store.

So many beautiful Fall and Holiday dies in this collection ...

you'll want to be sure and get your order placed right away!

My holiday cards this year are going to be quick, easy and gorgeous

with the use of these fabulous new dies!

The two die sets I've used today are:

Snowglobe Expressions (Tutti-143) and Deer Family Tree (Tutti-127)

How fabulous that the words on this Snowglobe set are individual.  Not only do they fit beautifully inside the snowglobe but you can use them individually on your holiday cards/projects just I have done today!

 I thought I'd share a few photos of how today's card was created.

Just a few easy steps and viola!

 Step 1:  I die cut my Deer Family Tree die

from white card stock then colored it using Spectrum Noir

alcohol markers: EB2, EB3 (Deer) DG3 (Tree) GB3 (Moon)

 

Did you notice I saved the three little snowflakes that popped out from the deer images?

Step 2:  Create the background for my Deer Family Tree by using a torn post-it note across the bottom of my white panel and sponging the top portion with lighter and darker Tim Holtz distress inks and a large sponge dauber.  

Step 3:  Mat my background panel with deep navy blue card stock and adhere to my A6 size card base.

Step 4:  Die cut the word PEACE from the Snowglobe Expressions set from a scrap piece of the deep navy blue card stock and adhere to the bottom 'snowy' portion.  A few little 'snowflakes' created using Liquid Pearls and my card is ready for mailing!

OH and I forgot to mention ... I reinserted those 3 little snowflakes

that had originally popped out of the deer bodies when die cut.

 I just LOVE the look of this card ...

Well, that's about it for me today ... time to get

those 4th of July holiday fixins'

ready for tomorrow's big celebration!
