Holiday Spirit Tree

Happy Thursday!

Today's card features a pretty new die
called  'Holiday Spirit Tree'.

This die has so many beautiful cutouts in it
that you can hardly stop looking at it.

I love shiny/glittery Christmas cards
so that is what I am going to show you today!

I started out by using a snowfall embossing folder.
However I didn't want the center embossed
so I used an oval easy folder frame over the outside
of the folder so it would  not emboss the center.

This is what it should look like before you emboss it.
I used a Cuttlebug and the stacking sequence is
Embossing folder with card stock inside,
Easy folder taped on top,
set it on your 'A' plate, with a 'C' plate on top and run it through your machine.
Now every machine performs differently so do not force it!
Just play around it with a bit until it feels  right for YOUR machine.
A tip to make an easy folder is a thin piece of craft foam,
then die cut any shape from it you desire and follow the instructions above.

This is what it should look like when done.

To finish, I cut another piece of card stock about a quarter inch
larger all around, added sticky tape to the edges,
then using my finger, added diamond glitter to the edges.
The embossed piece with the Holiday Spirit Tree was then placed on top.
