Happy Easter

Hi everyone, Anne here filling in today for Jenn.  Since Easter is this weekend, I created a cute Easter card.

I used these cute Tutti Designs dies for today's project:

Cottontail

Cross Stitch Nesting Tags

Dotted Nesting Rectangles

I began this card by creating my flowery background for the Tag using layering stencils and Distress Oxides.

Once this was completed, I die cut it with the Cross Stitch Nesting Tags and then set that aside.

Now the really fun part is next...putting together these adorable cottontail bunnies. I die cut this several times....in white, black, and grey cardstock. Then I began assembling them. It's so fun to have some many variations for the ears so that you can position them in so many ways. I used the black die cuts to give shadows to my white and grey bunny.

Believe it or not, I didn't have any Easter sentiment dies (this has been remedied and they are on their way now). So I created a computer generated sentiment and then die cut it with the smallest Dotted Nesting Rectangles die.

All that's left is to assemble everything. For the card base, I used my deckle trimmer to trim the edges.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies available. Need more inspiration?  The team has something new to share on the Tutti Designs Blog  EVERY DAY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY!
