Love

Hi crafters!  Welcome to another Saturday inspiration with Simply Monica.  Maple Vine Frame TUTTI-139 from our July 2016 release and TUTTI-232 Word Set Love from our December 2016.  I made a card perfect for Valentines using papers from Heartfelt Creations "Blazing Poppy" I love the deep red and black together.

I used some black foil paper to cut the Maple Frame and laid it against some white cardstock, but then it looked to plain so I added a piece of the red paper from the Heartfelt Creations collections and adhered the frame to the red paper.  It gave it a more elegant look.
Then I fussy cut one of the images from 2 of the sheets of Blazing Poppy paper and then embossed the 2nd flower.  I also, colored the flower with my copic markers to give it a darker red.  I used R35, R37 and R39.  Once done I used some Helmar Scrap Dots liquid dimensional glue to the back of the flower so it would have a 3d look.

I then added some black seed beads to the center of my flower to finish it off.  If you look at the top flower you can see where it appears off the page.  I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by.  Below you will find all the Tutti Designs link for more inspiration.

Stained Glass Dog

Hi friends!  Today I'm sharing a project using dies by Tutti Designs!  Tutti Designs has been busy creating away so many fabulous new dies so be sure to stop by the store and check out the new

Today I have a fun card to share with you, this can be given to your dog lover friends and family!  Everyone loves a puppy or fur baby and the stained glass window is so much fun to make.  I used the Dog Stained Glass Die for this card.

To make this card I I used a white card base. You will be cutting out 3 die cuts with this die.  The base will be a cut from Silver Foil card stock, and 2 will be from 2 different colors of glitter card stock.

Remove all the pieces from the Silver die cut and adhere it to your card base as shown.
When  you cut the next 2 be sure to leave them in tact as you will be using the pieces to inlay into the Silver base.
Using a poker punch out the blue pieces around the edges and adhere them to the same place in the Silver Base. Continue until the card is finished leaving a white background for contrast. When you're finished adding all the pieces, Add a sentiment to the top of the card.
I used Black embossing powder to emboss my sentiment.

For a finishing touch and this is optional, I wanted to give it a soldered look so I added dots of Imagine Crafts Irresistible texture spray in Silver on random spots on the frame.

This fun card is ready to send.

Fall Friends Shaker Card

Hi friends!  Today I'm sharing a project using dies by Tutti Designs!  Tutti Designs has been busy creating away so many fabulous new dies so be sure to stop by the store and check out the new

Today I have a fun Fall card to share with you, this can be given or sent for Thanksgiving to Friends .

I really love this Leaves Corner Die by Tutti designs. It frames cards or photos perfectly!

To make this card I I used a white card base. I I used the Nested Stitched Circle dies to cut a circle in the top layer of my card. Adhere a piece of acetate to the back of the card front.  I added foam tape to the back of the circle, making sure the circle was surrounded by foam tape. Add sequins and beads  to the center  and adhere the bird background to the card front. Adhere to the card base.

Cut 2 Leaves Corner from coordinating paper and adhere them as shown.

Die cut the Word Set - Friends from Copper Foil Card stock and adhere it to the Card as shown.

This elegant card is ready to send.

Father And Daughter

Good Morning!
Donna Phelan back again.

This card was made with love, truly.  I have created it for my favorite son in law, Tim!
(yes, you guessed it, I do only have one....but he is still my very most favorite!)
My daughter, Lori, and her husband, Tim, just became first time parents
to a beautiful little girl, Penelope Joy, on October 17th.
When I saw this fabulous die in the Tutti Designs Store, I knew I had to have it!

Now, on with the show!

This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and I will make a matching envelope for mailing.  I used this beautiful Father And Daughter die from the May 2017 Release.   I die cut it twice from Black card stock, layering the 2 together.  This gives the die a little bit more oomph for depth and dimension.

I displayed my die cuts and sentiment on hand cut panels and at a wonky angle.  I feel this gives the card a bit more interest too.  Adding a few accents using Sheer Ribbon and all manners of Adhesive Rhinestones.

I know this is a vision of what's to come.

Beneath the sentiment stamped in Raven Black ink,
I also stamped many little hearts in Pink Pirouette ink.
A labor of love.

Here's what I used:

Handmade Purple Christmas Card with Snowflakes and Plaid

If you're anything like me, your Christmas card crafting is in full swing!  Autumn with you today to share this atypical colored Christmas card featuring our lovely Snowflake Corner die.

I was so pleased to find out that the Mulberry Mist glittery embossing powder I had won a couple of years back coordinated perfectly with Milled Lavender Distress Ink!  I was inspired to create a pale purple Christmas card after seeing the latest Authentique and Kaisercraft paper releases.  Sadly, my floor may fall in if I buy much more paper, so I opted to make my own patterns with my stamps and an embossing folder. :)

I cut my Snowflake Corner from white watercolor paper then rubbed with my Versamark pad and embossed.  Next, I stamped this beautiful plaid stamp by Wendy Vecchi and embossed again for my back layer.

I ran the Tiny Dots EF by Tim Holtz through my machine and met up the end to do a second run.  I used my seam binding to conceal the break in the design.  The edges of both panels are lightly tinted with Milled Lavender.  I finished it off with a loopy bow and a sentiment stamped in grey and cut into a banner.  I hope you are inspired to make your own coordinating collections with your inks and die cuts today!

Poppies to remember...

Vicki here...I'm back again to share another project using one of the newly released stained glass panel die cuts from Tutti Designs.  They are a must see in the Tutti Store!

Today's card features the Poppies Stained Glass Panel Die Cut.

Poppies have a special meaning to our military veterans.  Although we see it used on Memorial Day as a symbol of remembrance for those that gave their lives, I thought it would be great to share this die now as we recently celebrated Veterans' Day on September 11th.  Veteran's Day is a day to honor all military members...those who are serving, have served and those retired.  My father-in-law is a WWII Navy veteran and my younger brother is an 82nd Airborne veteran along with numerous other extended family members that are serving or retired military veterans.  A big thank you to all for your service!

So, this one's for them...

"Faith"

I decided to go basically monochrome on this A2 card using a navy cardstock base and sentiment with orange micro beads as the filler for my image.

I used white cardstock for the Poppy Stained Glass image and cut a piece of double sided adhesive paper the same size.

Next, I adhered the die cut to one side of the adhesive paper.

I filled in all the areas and patted gently to make sure the beads were adhered tightly and sprayed the image with iridescent glitter spray.

I was thrilled to see how well the micro beads filled in and adhered to the die cut image.

I added the "Faith" sentiment in the lower right of the card.

Birds on a wire . . .

Hello Tutti Friends!
Darlene with you today!  WOW have you seen the latest
October Release dies at the store?
They are stained glass style and they are fabulous!

Today I've used the 'Birds Stained Glass' die for my creation ...

TUTTI-400 Birds Stained Glass

I decided to use the Inlaid technique for my card.
It took a little time and patience but I LOVE the outcome!!
It actually looks like a stained glass piece!!

I first die cut my image from black card stock to use as my base.
Then I cut a red panel to use for the birds and a green panel
to use for the leaves.

I adhered my black outline onto white card stock using the Nuvo
medium glue pen.  Then I started inlaying the birds.
Once they were completed I inlaid the leaves.
Then cut my white frame to create my focus panel.

Once my inlaid was completed, I matted the entire panel
onto the same green card stock as the leaves and
centered it onto my red card stock background panel.
Using a ruler and white gelly roll pen,
I created my faux stitching.

Here's another peek at the finished creation.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.
