Splattered Autumn Window

Hello Friends, Diane here on this last day of July
with a newly released  Tutti Design die 'Autumn Window'.

This is a smaller die that I just LOVE the size,
 perfect for a card front!

I started by die cutting a Tutti Designs Dotted Nesting Rectangle
Then 'splattering' it with 3 different colors of Oxide inks
Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber
Distress Oxide Peeled Paint and
Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade.

I popped up Tutti Designs Autumn Window on top of the splatters
which I die cut from white card stock.

I added a few scraps of designer papers under the rectangle for a bit of added interest
and a hemp bow....
simple but easy to mail!!

Fancy Carolers Sing to Us!

Hey there, Tutti friends!

I'm here once again, to share more "Christmas in July" holiday inspiration using two dies from the Tutti Designs' July release, Fancy Carolers and Twig Wreath along with the Musical Stave.  I've already added these dies to my list of favorites!

"Fancy Carolers"

I created this card using traditional Christmas colors in my favorite square format.  As always, I've added lots of layers using die cuts.

The Fancy Carolers are cut from red and brown velvet specialty paper.  I traced both metal dies onto complimentary cardstock, cut them out and adhered the caroler images to them.

I cut doubles of the Twig Wreath using two different colors of cardstock and an extra bird and bow from a dark red velvet paper.  The kraft color wreath serves as matting for the green.  I also die cut the Musical Stave from a kraft paper and inked it with Chestnut Roan Chalk.

I assembled everything with the Twig Wreath serving as a background prop and the Musical Stave passing through it.  The matted red bird and bow embellish the wreath and stave.  I adhered green pearls on the four corners of the card.

I've added yet another Christmas card to my growing stack!

Grumpy Frankie!

Hi there Tutti fans!

Today I have created a little turn the wheel Halloween card using

and

Is he not the cutest little Frankie ever!!!

So I started my card by covering the base with some Halloween backing paper.
I then cut Frankie out in black, lime green, purple and yellow card.

I adhered the yellow Frankie onto some black card and added glue to the pieces I wanted to paper piece.

When he was finished I carefully cut him out.

I cut two different size circles for the wheel and cover.
Cutting a notch with the smallest circle in the largest circle
for the wheel to peep through.

I made myself a template so I knew where to cut the slot.
I wrote my words in black pen and popped a brad into the centre to attach to base card.
I added some narrow dimensional tape to the back
of the largest circle and after cutting out the gap for the word I adhered it to the base card,
making sure not to attach to the smaller circle underneath.

I finished by adding Frankie and using my black pen I added arrows to show
the direction to turn the wheel to read the words
TRICK OR TREAT

I finished the card off with some big black gems.

For my project I have used:

I hope you enjoyed my project today!

Gifts under the Tree

Hi everyone!

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

I decided to get a jump on them, and have already made several. Actually holiday cards are my favorite to make, and Tutti Designs has some awesome Christmas dies.

One of my favorites is the Gifts Under the Tree:

TUTTI-131 Gifts Under The Tree

I cut the tree out in black, red and crumb cake. I used the black tree for this card, and added the crumb cake presents. I inlaid the red ribbon on the presents and added some enamel dots.

The sentiment is one of my favorites too, and I embossed it in white onto a piece of  crumb cake. Then I added some white "snow" with a tooth brush and white paint mixed with a spray of water.

The last thing I added was a bow...... made of string of course!

Country Chic Encouragement Card

Hello Everyone! Jenn here today to share this pretty, shabby chic styled card using the amazing Tutti Designs Dies!
I just love the sentiment on this card and thought it would be great as an encouragement card!

I have used the following two dies:

The inside of the card (shown below) is two cut sheets of paper, inked on the edges with distress ink and layered using a tape gun.

This card started as a sheet of white heavy cardstock cut to 8 1/2" X 7". folded in half and burnished. The inside papers are one designer paper cut to 4" X 6 3/4" and white cardstock cut to 3 3/4" X 6 1/2".
I like to complete my card insides first so that the front does not get bent when opened.
The front was layered with scrap designer paper that was distressed and inked on the edges. White acrylic paint was splattered lightly. Next the flowers and die cuts were added at different levels to create the dimension seen. White acrylic paint was dry-brushed over the embellishments and then mini glass beads and small pearls were added.

Just look at the beautiful detail of the vine die here!

Thank You for visiting my post today!! I hope you are inspired to get out your tools and supplies and create!!

Birthday Cupcakes

Hi there, Diane with you today.
How about a few birthday cupcakes,
or how about  A LOT of birthday cupcakes...lol!

The die I used for these two cards is the Cupcake Stand.
I added a pretty paper background and  a few random flowers to this card.

The second card I embossed the background and cut the cupcake stand from
a pretty multi colored paper.
This is a nice sized die that works well for a square card,
it seems to do most of the work for you,
just by adding a few other elements and you have a quick birthday when need be!

Holiday Collage!

Happy Monday Tutti fans!

Today, I'm sharing more Christmas inspiration using one of the gorgeous, newly released dies from Tutti Designs...Holiday Collage.  This collage offers 5 different elements combined in a single panel perfect for quick and easy holiday cards.  I've also used the Snowglobe Expressions words for the sentiments.

Typically, I like traditional colors for Christmas cards, but decided to use something different with this Holiday Collage.  I chose turquoise and pink as the base colors for these two cards.

Tutti Designs Holiday Collage

"Noel"

First up is this turquoise card base with the Holiday Collage cut from gold metallic paper.  It really needs nothing at all in the way of embellishing.  The beautiful elements of the die cut collage make this an easy holiday creation.  I cut the "Noel" word from the Snowglobe Expressions set in both colors using the turquoise as an offset matting for the gold.

"Joy"

Next up is this lovely pink card base with the Holiday Collage cut from white cardstock.  The white really pops against the bright pink.  For this card, I cut the word  "Joy" from the Snowglobe Expressions using gold and matting it with pink against the white.  I saved a few of the negative pieces from the gold collage in the first card to embellish this one.  I also added Viva Gold to the poinsettia and snowflake centers along with the flame on the candle.

This Holiday Collage is one of 33 newly  released dies for July.  They are now available for purchase in the Tutti Designs store.  Stop by and add them to your stash today!

A Christmas Wreath

Hi there Tutti fans!

Today I have started my Christmas card collection using the beautiful

I wanted to make an acetate front showing the sentiment inside.
So I started by cutting the Wreath using some sticky back coloured paper.

I cut the wreath in green

Peeled off the back and adhered to my acetate.

I cut some strips using red card, to fit the size of my acetate.

I used the acetate as a template and cut out a square front the front of my base card.

I stuck the wreath to the front of acetate and glued 4 strips to cover join.
I also added 4 strips of red to the inside to cover it up.

Giving a framed effect to my card.

I cut the wreath out again in red and cut the larger of the berries
and stuck on top of my green wreath.

I used my stamping platform so I could place the sentiment
perfectly inside the wreath.

I finished the card by adding pearls to each corner.

I hope you like my project today.
Unfortunately the Wreath die is out of stock but you can be added
to the waiting list and it definitely is worth waiting for!!

Today I have showcased
