A Nautical Birthday

Hello Friends!
This is the last week I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs dies I'm using today are:

Slimline Stitched Wobbly Frames

TUTTI-685 Slimline - Stitched Wobbly Frames

 Seashell Lighthouse

TUTTI-533 Seashell Lighthouse

Word Set - Happy

 TUTTI-228 Word Set - Happy

 Word Set - Birthday

TUTTI-229 Word Set - Birthday

As you can see in the photo, I have cut the frames from various nautical type background design papers and after die cutting two lighthouses, I fussy cut the light beams away to use just the lighthouses.  A scrap of yellow card stock was placed behind the windows and a bit of coloring was done before popping them up on the page using dimensional tape.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies available. Need more inspiration?  The team has something new to share on the Tutti Designs Blog  EVERY DAY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY!

Nautical Shadow Box

front view

side view

Hey everyone, Anne here from Anne-Made with you today.   I've used the following Tutti Designs dies for today's shadow box project:

Message in a Bottle - Tutti-631

Twisted Rope Background - Tutti-632

Ship in a Bottle - Tutti-442

Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles - Tutti-419

This shadow box card looks fairly complicated to make, but it's pretty easy. I started out with two pieces of cardstock that measured 4"x11" and I scored both pieces at the 3" mark on either end. Then I used scraps and created my bridges to adhere everything. You can make this any size you like but make sure it's wider than the cutout opening you plan to use. I used the circle to create my opening in the front of one of the pieces.

Once this was ready, I added color with Distress Inks and used the Twisted Rope die cut as a stencil on the inside and out.

Next I assembled the sides together and added my bridges. There are lots of videos on how to do this and choose whatever way is easier for you.

The fun part comes next by deciding where you want your die cuts to go. 😀 Once you've decided, adhere everything down, making sure that it can still fold flat for mailing.

Ship In A Bottle

Summer will be here before you know it the way time flies by
and Tutti Designs sure has a LOT of fabulous summer dies,
the Ship In A Bottle and the Fishing Net being two of their many to choose from!

A really nice thing about the Ship In a Bottle die is that when cut, the ship is separate
giving you many more options to create and use it.
Not much explanation of what I did here as it's pretty self explanatory!
I did place the fish net underneath, what a fun die it is!!

Birds of Paradise

 Hello Friends!
This is the last month I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs die I'm using today is Bird Stained Glass (400).

TUTTI-400 Birds Stained Glass
In the creation of today's card, I went a little different route from the 'stained glass' look.  While the die cut was still in the die, I colored the birds and a few of the leaves using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers THEN paper pieced them into the white framework which had been adhered to a teal card stock panel.

Stormy Seas

Hey everyone, Anne here from Anne-Made with you today.   I've used the following Tutti Designs dies for today's project:

Seashell Lighthouse - Tutti-533

Ship in a Bottle - Tutti-442

Slimline Stitched Scalloped Rectangles - Tutti-681

For this slimline card, I started out by die cutting the card base from white cardstock and then used stencils to create my stormy sky and sea. Next I die cut the Seashell Lighthouse from white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.

The Ship in a Bottle actually has multiple pieces within this single die. I only wanted the ship, but I saved the other pieces for a future project. This was also colored with Copics.

Then came the easy part of adhering everything to a black cardstock mat and then to my final card base.

Hello Tutti Fans, today I am using a very pretty and very useful
die for all your slimline cards and it is the
Slimline Trellis Background,

I die cut from card stock then used the Tulip Corner die
in each corner, cut once from green card stock and then
just the tulip parts in red and paper pieced them on/
What a perfect Spring card for April don't you think?

I cut a couple Scalloped Stitched Ovals for the sentiment and stacked one
on the other.

Celebrate Love

Hello Friends!
Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased in March on the UK Hochanda TV show.  The Tutti Designs dies I'm using today are Scallop Stitched Nesting Circles (419), Dove Circle (100), Word Set Celebrate (243) and Word Set Love (no longer available).

TUTTI-419 Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles

 TUTTI-100 Dove Circle

 TUTTI-243 Word Set - Celebrate

How this card came together . . .

1.  Die cut the Dove Circle three times, 2 from white card stock and once from gold lamatte paper then glued them all together to create dimension.

2.  Die cut the larges scallop stitched nesting circle from white card stock to use as the base for the Dove Circle.

3.  Background gold lamatte panel was embossed using a 3D embossing folder.

4.  The word Celebrate was also cut multiple times and glued together for dimension and the word Love was cut from a scrap of gold lamatte.

5.  The white doves were die cut from scraps of white card stock the fussy cut to use as decorative elements.

6.  Nuvo white crystal drops were added along the bottom as well as a few in the center of the dove circle as a decorative element.

Kitty Best Wishes

Hey everyone, Anne here from Anne-Made with you today.   I've used the following Tutti Designs dies for today's project:

Kitty Window - Tutti-168

Best Wishes - 247

This is a quick card to put together. I die cut the Kitty Window from blcak cardstock. I made sure to center it so I could also use the negative portion.  I adhered the outline (negative portion) onto a pice of yellow patterned cardstock and then inserted the die cut back ito the opening.

I adhered this onto a slightly larger piece of black cardstock which I dry embossed for added texture. The sentiment was die cut from white cardstock and then everything was adhered to my card base.
