It's Christmas in July and Tutti Designs just released a huge release Christmas dies!  If you're already making your Christmas card be sure to pick up up some of these beautiful intricut dies!  Tutti Designs has some of the best dies around so be sure to check them out in the store!

To make this card I used the new Tutti Designs Framed Angel Die. I cut all the die cut from white card stock and  adhered it to Silver Glitter Card stock.
I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of clear velum add then heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.
The strip is approximately 2 inches x 8.5 inches.  Stamp the sentiment in the middle and when it has cooled and set wrap it around the bottom of the die cut and adhere to the back.  Now adhere it to the card base using foam tape along the edges.

Add a bow and flower and you have a fast and beautiful Christmas Card.

Happy Birthday Violin

Good Morning!

Donna Phelan back again.  Today I will be sharing a Masculine Birthday card with you.

The Tutti Designs Store has so many wonderful dies for all of your card making needs!  This month we are enjoying Musical Instruments, check out the June Release!  So many instruments and each and every one amazingly detailed!

Here's the great die I chose to use for today!

I die cut this fantastic Violin from Chipboard and Brown card stock, layered the 2 together and then backed with a piece of White card stock so the details would show through.  I then smooshed Versa Mark ink all over the front of the cut, covered it with Clear Embossing Powder, heated it to seal, and now I had an awesome shiny, glossy Chipboard die cut to play with!

I thought to show off this wonderful instrument I would create a wood grained background.  Taking my White card stock I scored every 1/2 inch.  Then using many inks I just swiped them up and down the scored paper until I got the look I liked.  I think the background really compliments the wooden Violin.  Stamped some musical notes and my Happy Birthday sentiment in Raven Black, which I also covered and heated with Clear Embossing Powder, to add some shine.  And why place the panel on straight when you can add a jaunty look to it and make it all wonky???

Tropical Beach Themed Sunglasses Card

Hello and happy summer to you!  Autumn with you today to share a variation from my first card with our Mr. Set dies.  Click HERE to see my masculine, steampunk father's day card using this set.  I was anxious to try out the sunglasses and this designer paper gave me just the inspiration.

I cut the sunglasses from watercolor paper and then cut another layer from thin chipboard to make a sturdy embellishment.  I adhered vellum behind the cutouts, which you could tint with inks if you like.  I chose the crisp white for my beach themed card.

I layered several cutouts from the paper to form my collage.  A folded flower sticks in for dimension.  The card is quite dimensional, but relatively flat for mailing.  I hope you like it!

Purchase your Mr. Set dies HERE today for your summer and masculine projects.

Tools!

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy here with a new Tutti Designs share!

Today is actually my sweet husband's birthday,
and this is the card that I made him for the occasion!

This is using the fabulous Tools Die from Tutti Designs.
You can find it HERE.
I simply positioned the dies on the kraft and ran it through my big shot.
I wrapped the twine around the bottom,
and then adhered it to the black card base.
Finally, I added the "You are my hero" stamp.
My husband is my hero in many ways,
but with tools is definitely one of them! :o)

Here's a closer look at the detail of the cuts:

There are so many dies here to have fun with!
The options are endless!

Music Heals the Soul . . .

Welcome back to the Tutti Designs Blog!
Darlene with you today sharing another musical creation!
This new June Release is so much fun to create with and has brought back many memories of my days in the high school band!  (yes ... I can remember back THAT far! lol)

The dies I have used today are Trombone and Saxaphone.

No automatic alt text available. No automatic alt text available.

My card was quick and easy to create.  By die cutting my 'instruments' from gold and bronze metallic papers, it gives the feeling of the real instruments.

And, if you are a music lover as I am, the sentiment is so true.
I can be in an 'off' mood but put on some 'oldies' and I'm back in my youth dancing around the room and feeling much better!

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.

Embossed Shaker Card

Hi Tutti fans! Simply Monica back with another Saturday project along with a Tutti Tip (TT).  Today  I am sharing a Christmas in July card which features: TUTTI-373 Forest Star this die measures approx 3.5 x 3.5 when cut which makes for a perfect die to be used to create a fun shaker card.

1.  Run your die through your die cut machine which leaves you the star center.  Use your adhesive of choice and align around the star.  I am using Imagine Tear-It tape which gives you a nice strong hold.

2. Lay a piece of acetate against the adhesive then apply some foam tape.  This gives you the height for the shaker pieces.  I am using Recollections shaped glitter: gold hearts and silver stars followed by some red glass seed beads from Cousin.
3.  Time to piece your card together.  For the sentiment I used TUTTI-247 Word Set Best Wishes in gold foil paper.  Finally, I paper pieced the reindeer in brown mulberry paper
I hope everyone enjoyed my post.

Thanks for stopping by the Tutti Designs blog today!
Tutti Tip: Emboss plain cardstock for added dimension.

Just A Note

Good Morning!
Donna Phelan back again.  Today I m sharing an elegant Golden Harp card with you all.
The Tutti Designs Store has so many wonderful dies for all of your card making needs!  This month it's all about Musical Instruments, check out the June Release!
I used this FUN little die from Tutti Designs.  Again, so much detail!

I knew immediately that this Harp had to be Gold Foiled, no ifs, ands, or buts about it!
Zing went my harp strings....or something like that!  :)

I first die cut the Harp from Chipboard and then Toner Paper, which I proceeded to run through my Mini Minc Machine with Gold Foil.  I then layered the 2 together to make a lovely chipboard piece.  I want my die cuts to come to life with a bit of depth and dimension.  If you notice when cutting dies from card stock or Designer Paper (alone) the cuts tend to lay there and look flat.  I find by adding a layer or 2 makes it really POP and gives it a life all of its own!

I added lots of Gold Foil accents.  My Designer Paper was foiled as were the layers between.  I even Heat Embossed my sentiment in Gold Powder tying it all together.

Acoustic Guitar Masculine Card

Hello!  Autumn with you today to share a funky masculine make featuring our amazing new Acoustic Guitar die.  I was so happy to find some grungy, tattoo inspired paper in my stash and built a relatively flat design, all pointing to the amazing guitar die.  I stamped part of the sentiment onto our Nesting Stitched Square die.  The remaining part of the sentiment, "it is the secret of youth" is stamped inside.  I fussy cut the flowers and scroll corner from my layers, then mounted things in order.  I stamped the arrow sentiment to balance the design.

The guitar die was cut from metallic bronze CS, with most of the design elements adhered inside.  The metallic CS works with this glossy paper.  I hope you like it!

Trombone Die

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy back with a new Tutti Designs share!

Today I'm featuring the fun new Trombone Die,
which you can find right HERE.

I've also added the Fancy Top Hat, and the Stitched Nesting Oval dies.

As soon as I saw the trombone die, all the wonderful old musicals came to mind.
Then I was reminded of these digitals paper in my collection.
The men in the ads look like they play in the big band.
I'm sure they'll be wearing their fancy top hats after the show, right?

I cut the Trombone from kraft and inked it.
I cut the Fancy Top Hat from the patterned paper and inked it.
Finally, I cut the Stitched Nesting Oval from kraft.
I layered them and adhered them in place.

Here's a closer look at all three dies:

A Boy and his Guitar . . .

Welcome Back Tutti Friends and
Happy Sunday to you!

Darlene with you today sharing another creation from our June Release.
This release is filled with music related fun!

First of all let me tell you about this sweet image . . .
It was actually one of four ' chipboard coasters' send to us from a company that we send contributions to throughout the year.  When they came in the mail my mind immediately went to 'how can I use these on a card' so I put them in my crafting cave waiting for just the right time... and that time is TODAY!!

This Tutti Designs Acoustic Guitar worked with it perfectly!!

No automatic alt text available.

Since this chipboard coaster doesn't lay flat on my card, I knew I wanted to add dimension to my guitar,  Now, there are a few ways you can achieve that.
First, you can simply add dimensional foam tape to the back of your die cut.
Secondly, you can die cut your guitar several times and glue them all together.
OR
you can do what I did and die cut using Fun Foam, then gluing your die cut to it.

As you can see, the guitar I originally cut is not the same as the one on my card.
Live and Learn . . .  the design paper I cut it from originally was too thin and when I went to adhere it to my fun foam cut using a spray adhesive, it literally 'fell apart'.  Everywhere my fingers touched it came apart so I simply went to Plan B and die cut another guitar using card stock and that worked better.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.
