Distress Ink Rainbow Die Cut Background Card

Hey there!  Autumn with you today sharing something a little different for me, a bright vivid CAS design with our gorgeous Rose Frame die.

I tapped my ink pads on to my craft mat in a nice stripe and spritzed lightly with water to ink the various colors.  I started with yellow then worked my way out.  I've done this before to make an ombre background, but thought it would be fun to do a rainbow here.  I embossed the verse from Verve Stamps onto a Nesting Stitched Circle die, which I had inked in the same manner.

I adhered my Rose Frame using the method I described in THIS post.  It is a great trick for adhering intricate dies to inky backgrounds.  I hope you're inspired and will get out your Tutti Designs dies and have a play today!

Be Thankful...

Happy Monday, crafter friends!
Vicki here sharing my last Tutti creation for October.

Hard to believe that November is just around the corner...and Tutti Designs has just released ten new stained glass panel dies this past week!  A must have from the Tutti Designs Store.

I've used the Cornucopia from the August 2017 release and the Maple Vine Frame from the July 2016 release on this project.  They work so well together for this time of year!

"Be Thankful"

The bitter chocolate card base is A2 size and perfect for the vine frame.  The Cornucopia is cut from bronze metallic.  In place of a stamped sentiment, I used a tag that was included with the Amber Moon pattern paper collection.

The Maple Vine Frame was die cut three times. One each from patterned paper, kraft and eggshell cardstock.  I used the kraft frame as a shadow effect for the patterned frame by giving it dimension with foam tape.  I switched out the negative cut areas in the center of the eggshell and patterned frame.  This worked better as the background for the Cornucopia.

This angle gives a better view of the dimension.

I adhered the metallic Cornucopia to the frame and tucked the tag into it.
And there you have it...a simple, but elegant card to give this season of Thanksgiving.

Peace On Earth

Hello Friends!
Darlene with you today sharing another fun creation using dies from the fabulous Tutti Designs Store.
My Christmas cards will be done in no time this year thanks to all the fabulous holiday dies available at the Tutti Designs Store.  Today I've created a quick and easy card that says a lot for what is needed in our world today.

The dies I've used today are

Here's how this card came together:

After die cutting my beautiful focus die from a 4.5" x 6.5" the Paper Studio Glitter paper, I decided I wanted to use the same glitter paper for my matting.

TIP:  So as not to waste an entire sheet behind my focus die cut, I used the largest Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Rectangle Die and die cut a panel out of the center.  Now I have another beautiful panel to use on another quick holiday card creation.

To create even more holiday shimmer, I've used a pearlized white card stock as my matting behind my die cut.
Lastly, by cutting the next to smallest Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Square die from the same glitter paper, and then cutting each square from corner to corner, I have created these beautiful corner embellishments.   It all ties together so beautifully and was easy peasy!

Here's another look at the finished card!
VIOLA!

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.

Bird Tapestry

Good Morning!
Donna Phelan back again.

When I saw this gorgeous Bird Tapestry die I knew I could use it for several different types of cards.  It would work well for a Wedding card or Sympathy.  And here I have used it as a Christmas card.  I love the unique dies the Tutti Designs Store has to offer and I love the wide variety of uses you can get from ONE die.  That's more bang for your money for sure!

Check out the size of that die cut,
it covers the entire front of my card, which is an A2, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.
I adore that pretty detailed die cut border framing in the beautiful birds and flourishes.  I only added a bit of Sheer Ribbon and some Adhesive Rhinestones as accents.  Using the traditional Red, Green and White Christmas color combo, really puts the Merry into this Christmas card.

The birds in flight are so magical.  My Rhinestones hi-light the pretty posies.
I am letting the die do all of the work, just letting it shine in all it's glory!

Prima Tales of You and Me Shabby Chic Card

Hiya sweeties!  Autumn with you today sharing a shabby chic card featuring our lovely Tulip Wreath die.  I am wild over this beautiful, intricate die cut!  I decided to layer with the Prima Tales of You and Me collection.

No automatic alt text available.

I embossed my die cut, which I had cut from watercolor paper, in Stampendous Frantage embossing powder.  I layered with a die cut doily and stamped Verve Stamps sentiment.  Any shabby card just has to have a flower layered in!  I also made a loopy bow from gorgeous dyed seambinding by DL Art.  I just love those vintage tones!  I hope you are inspired today!

A "Frightful" Four Pack!

Vicki here with your Monday morning Tutti inspiration!

Who needs an excuse to buy Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino?  Not me!  And those cute little 4 packs?  Absolutely! And, I can never bring myself to throw away those bottles.  So, here's an oldie, but goodie...an altered 4 pack to fill with Halloween goodies for the boys next door!

I started with this 4 pack (of course, I drank it myself!) of empty bottles that I cleaned and ran through the dishwasher to assure they were super clean.

I removed the labels and scrubbed the bottles and lids before placing them in the dishwasher.

The cardboard carrier is covered with Halloween papers and inked on all edges.  I used the Spiderweb Corner to embellish both sides of the carrier and added some glitter and sequins to the webs.  A couple of large dimensional spiders from my stash are adhered above the webs.

The opposing ends of the bottle carrier have banners created using the Nesting Stitched Banner Dies.  I used stickers letters for the words on the banners.

The bottles are embellished with strips of the same paper patterns as the bottle carton.  The various label dies...Black Cat, Cooking Witch, Fancy Pumpkin and Flying Witch are matted with background ovals cut using the Nesting Stitched Oval Dies.  I embellished the bottles with ribbon, sequins and flowers.

A collection of fun altered bottles full of Halloween goodness!
