Hello Tutti Fans ...
It's Darlene with you today sharing another fun creation using dies from the Tutti Designs Store. Specifically a die from the August Fall/Halloween Release. I don't send many Halloween cards these days but I thought this would even work for a Birthday card with an inside verse that might say something like this ...
Eeeek! ... you're HOW OLD???
LOL
The die I have used for today's card is the 'Gravestone' die #378.
My background paper (very old 12x12 ... possibly DCWV) had the white spiders crawling up the page so that was the basis for my card. I knew I wanted dimension to my gravestone die cut image but also thought it might not work out well using dimensional tape. So, once again, I die cut my image multiple times (4 to be exact) and glued them together. That gave me the dimension I was looking for and kept the background shadow BLACK.
If you noticed, on the front of the gravestone is a spider which of course popped out with each cut. Well what better embellishment than the scrolls & spiders that would have otherwise been tossed in the trash. I added a few black spiders crawling up the web as well as used one on the inside along with the scrolls.

course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies
you need to have on hand.

Awesome and spooky! I love that raven die cut. Reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe's poem. Great idea using the spiders. They work perfectly with this paper!
