"You have my heart..."

Good morning, Tutti friends!

Vicki here on this last Monday in January sharing more Valentine inspiration using a few of the fabulous dies available in the Tutti Designs Store.

I've used the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Squares, Stitched Nesting Hearts and the Heart of Hearts Corner dies on this Valentine!

"You Have My Heart"

This 6 x 6 card has a black cardstock base with layers of Theresa Collins "Save the Date" patterned papers from my stash.  I used the Heart of Hearts Corner die as a pocket for the hearts...one patterned, one vellum and one velvet.  You can see the four Scalloped Stitched Squares matted in black that make up the background for the heart pocket.  I made a pretty bow with the light pink ribbon in my Really Reasonable Ribbon January Valentine Mix.  A few pearl hearts complete the design.

The sentiment is computer generated and printed on vellum.  I don't like to waste a whole sheet of vellum, so I printed the quote on computer paper first.  Next, I took a small piece of vellum and adhered it over the computer generated quote with low tack tape.  Then I printed the quote again on to the vellum and cut it out with the Stitched Heart Die.

Here's a close up of the sentiment heart.  You can see the scalloped squares background and the stitching design on the hearts.  I just love the stitched edging on these dies.

And there you have it...another pretty Valentine!

P.S. I Love You Owls

Hello Everyone!! Jenn here sharing my cute owl easel card using the amazing Tutti Design Dies!

This owl die is my absolute favorite so far but there are so many to choose from at Tutti Designs!

Tutti Design Dies Used:

To create this card you will also need:
Cardstock - brown, vanilla, purple, lime and one in a  pattern that coordinates with the solids.
Scoring platform and tool
Adhesive
Foam dot
First start by cutting out your dies.
Patterned cardstock - 2 large circles 1 small circle
Vanilla cardstock - Owl die and card base
Brown cardstock - Owl die
Lime Cardstock - Owl die
Purple cardstock - 2nd largest circle

To assemble the owl as shown here, start by cutting the owls from the brown die cut and the leaves from the green die cut. Use an adhesive pen to adhere these pieces to the vanilla owl die cut. Use a brayer or rolling pin to make sure that all the pieces stick down flat. Adhere the piece to the purple circle and then the purple circle to one of the large patterned circles.

To make the easel base follow these steps:

Next, adhere the other large patterned circle to inside (unfolded).
Line the top of your assembled owl piece to the top of the folded circle and adhere it only to that half.

Place the small patterned circle inside using a foam dot to use for a stand. Add a stamped sentiment

Thanks so much for viewing my post today!

Butterfly strip

Hi Tutti fans!
As it's been so cold and snowy over here I thought I would cheer myself up
with nice warm colours and pretty butterflies and what better way than using this
gorgeous die

I went with an a5 size card as I wanted to use two strips of my butterfly die.

I cut them out using this lovely pink card (looks a bit darker in photo though).

I made a dreamy background on watercolour card using some watercolour pens and glycerine.

I adhered my two butterfly strips to the background and added a thin strip down each side.

I then stamped a greeting in the centre of the strip, stuck to my main card and
stamped a small sentiment, repeatedly along both sides in matching ink.

I cut my butterfly strip again in white card (twice) but this time I just snipped
the butterflies away from the strip to use separately, shaping the wings to give dimension.

I adhered the white butterflies on top of their co-ordinating pink butterfly.
I then added pearls between the side panel stamping
and finished with a white organza bow.

Hope you like it!

If you like this die then pop over and treat yourself
as it's on offer at the minute!

Two Rose Valentine

Hi everyone! Laurie here with a very simple Valentine!

Today I'm showcasing the Two Rose Heart...such a beautiful die. I cut it out in red and adhered some white paper behind the roses, as I wanted them to show up well on the black background.

TUTTI-426 Two Rose Heart

Then I cut out a white frame with the scalloped stitched nesting rectangles and adhered it onto some black patterned paper. The Two Rose Heart went on top.

The sentiment is from the Snow globe Expressions set,cut out in sliver foil.
