Autumn here with you today to share a little die cut mix up. This lovely bird die is just so romantic and beautiful and I am “dieing” to make some wedding cards, Valentines, and spring creations with it. Only with fall having settled in I am turning my crafty thoughts toward preparing my Christmas card stash. To me a great investment in a die is one that I can use in multiple ways. I’m no stranger to cutting apart my dies to make them work for me! This time I simply covered the petals with tiny punched snowflakes using a cheapie $1 punch, a couple of stickers, and some bling.
I used a coated glitter cardstock to cut my die, then glued on my snowflakes, and layered over a white panel which I had sponged with ink to give a vintage look. I used puff paint to create the snowy icicles along the top. I inked and stamped my layers, distressing all the edges. I stamped the sentiment onto scrap and curled it with my bone folder. Then I added my ribbon and flower to complete the card.
I hope you are inspired to think out of the box with your Tutti Designs dies. I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Share with us in the comments section so we can oooh and ahhhh along with you.
