Father's Day

Hi there Tutti Fans!
It's Pinky here, sharing my Saturday project!

I am sharing a Father's Day card with you today using

and

To start I choose a plain white base card, one 12 x 12 designer paper sheet
and one solid colour for my matting sheet.

Using one of the dotted nesting squares I cut out lots of squares in the patterned paper.

I then layered and glued them onto the backing sheet

until I have the whole card covered.

I used the largest square cut in card, the next square cut in cream
and stamped my greeting. I layered all this onto a piece of cream
and placed in centre of my card.
I added two strips of green card with tails cut and added some faux stitching
and placed either side of my centre squares.

To decorate I made some faux buttons by cutting two green and two cream circles,
layering one onto the other. I punched two holes in the cream circles
and tied a piece of string.

To make my greetings I stamped them and cut using the square dies
and placing the die back on again to cut to the right size.

I finished the card by punched two small circles for either side of my greeting!
I think this is a great way to use your dies other than matting and layering
and it's great for using up scraps.

For my card today I used

Thanks for dropping by today!
Have a great weekend.
