Hello everyone,Jenn here today sharing a fun gate fold style Christmas card using dies from the amazing collection of Tutti Designs!
Christmas cards are some of my favorites to create. This card has a gate fold design and I have used the following Tutti Designs Dies:
My card measures 5" X 6 1/2" closed. To create the card base follow these steps:
1. Cut solid cardstock to 6 1/2" X 11".
2. Score at 3" and 8" and fold back flap in first followed by front flap which will overlap a bit.
3.Finally, decorate as you like.
To decorate my card I have used "Christmas Time", a paper collection by Echo Park.
For the inside of my card I have cut the following:
Inside Panels - 2 3/8" X 6 3/8"
Middle panel - 4 7/8" X 6 3/8" - Red
4 5/8" X 6 1/4" - Image from paper
Die Cuts:
Dotted Nesting Rectangles
Third largest - 3.875" x 2.625" - Red
Fourth largest - 3.50" x 2.25"
A sentiment piece was also cut from the papers and added.
For the card front:
Panels for flaps:
Dotted Nesting Rectangles
3.50" x 2.25" - Cut a total of four, two from each pattern. A crap of red paper was made into the strip between the dies on each panel.
Place ribbon around card and adhere to back and front left flap only.
For the focal image on the front.
Die Cuts:
Dotted Nesting Rectangle - Red - 4.625" x 3.375"
Dotted Nesting Rectangle - Patterned - 4.25" x 3.00"
Cross Stitched Nesting Circle -Patterned - 3.20"

I created the front piece separately from my card and then used scrap cardboard to adhere it to the left flap only. I then added my flowers and sentiment.
