Happy 4th! - by Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a festive Independence Day card I created using dies in a few ways.
The amazing Tutti Designs dies nesting sets have endless possibilities and with this post I will share just a few that I have incorporated here.

The Tutti Dies used here are as follows:

Because these dies come in sets of different sizes, there are so many ways they can be used.
For my card, I created a slimline style which measures 3.5 X 8.5. The base is made with ivory cardstock for a bit more of a vintage look to coordinate with the Graphic 45 papers used.
I have also used red and blue cardstocks.
The first use of the dies of course is to cut out the stars needed.
There are 4 dies in this set and I have used the three smallest. I did not use the extra large so for instructions I will refer to the three i used as small, medium, and large.
Blue - 1 large, 2 small
Ivory - 1 large, 2 medium, 2 small
Red - 1 medium, 1 small
The next use of the dies that I incorporated into my card is using dies to make cut outs. Some call this the negative part.

For this part, I have placed 3 of the square dies in 3 sizes onto my red cardstock base and cut windows.
The squares that were cut out were also used in the third way here. I used those to cut frames for my windows by placing the next size down die.
Next I cut pictures and one square of ivory to stamp my sentiment on. These were adhered under the windows and the windowed piece was then adhered to the card front.
I added some festive silver washi stripes for a bit of sparkle!
