How To Get The Most From Your Dies by Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here today to share with you how to get the most out of your dies by using the parts in a couple of ways.
If you are anything like me as a crafter, I hate waste. Using both the positive and negative cuts from your dies is one way to eliminate waste while creating projects. This is also a wonderful way to make your projects stand out.
As an example of this, I have created a rustic Christmas card using bot the positive and negative parts of the Pine Forest Die.

Using Kraft cardstock I made a card base that measures 5 1/2" X 6". This was done by scoring a 5 1/2" X 12" piece at 6" and folding in a flip up style. Next I used the Pine Forest Die on the front flap across the bottom. I adhered a Christmas themed paper under the cut out trees and another strip of the same paper to the front across the top. I wrapped red ribbon around the middle of the top strip and adhered it. I also added my 3D wooden sentiment and a bow.
Finally I cut one of the trees from the positive die cut, adhered red paper to the underside and adhered it to my card using a foam adhesive. The little snowflake popped out of the tress were even used.
