Hearts, Hearts, and More Hearts! - A Valentine Mini by Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a fun little mini album with a Valentine theme!

This adorable little mini only measures 3 1/4 X 3 5/8 when closed but holds so much inside!

For this project I have used the following Tutti Designs Die Set:

As a daily paper crafter, I find that these Tutti Nesting Die Sets are a necessary staple for my work. They come in a large variety of shapes and are perfect for paper crafting!

The base of my mini was creating using a large black scalloped tag.
I have also used Valentine themed papers from Echo Park along with pink and red cardstock.

As you can see in the above photo I have cut all of my pieces for my album to start. I always cut more than I need and keep the extras in a bin for later use.
To Make the Base:
I used a 8 5/8" X 3 3/4" tag in black and scored it at 3 1/4", 3 1/2", 7", and 7 1/4".
Cut 3 black pieces to 3 3/4" X 6 3/4" and score in middle at 3 3/8" these are your pages.
To create the pages in a Z style, place them one at a time rotating the open side on top of each other and adhere the back of one to the front of the one underneath it. Do the same for the last making sure it opens to the side the top of the base is on. Adhere the back to the inside middle portion of the base.
I used score tape to put mine together.
you should have four panels on each side that when pulled open fold out.

Embellish the pages however you like depending on your theme. I have used my heart die cuts throughout the pages of my album as "tuck spots" by adhering only the bottom edges using glue. I also added some stickers from this paper collection as well as some fun washi to the front and back of my album.
My closure was created using magnets and more of the heart die cuts.
