Hello Friends!
Over the next several weeks I will be sharing cards created using various dies from the Tutti Designs Store that were showcased last month on the UK Hochanda TV show. The dies I'm using today are Ship in a Bottle (#442) and Fishing Net (#444). I've used a third die that wasn't showcased on the TV show but comes in very handy all the time ... Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles (#410)
Here's how this card came together ...
I
die cut the ship in a bottle die THREE times ... White, Kraft &
Blue. The ship is actually separate from the bottle, so I was able to
do some fussy cutting and gluing and then paper piece it back into place
after putting the blue panels back into the white frame on my black
background panel. I used a small sponge & ink to add some color to
the coral (at least I think that's supposed to be coral) inside the
bottle. The rope & cork were also inked for added dimension color.
The
fishing net was cut from Kraft paper and simply positioned behind my
focus image. I've added a simple sentiment and VIOLA ... ready for
mailing.
