Layered Easter Egg and Lamb Card

Autumn with you today to share a lovely layered Easter card featuring two of our gorgeous dies, Floral Daisy Egg and the Believe Word Set.

To create this layered look, first cut an oval in the foreground paper with a Nesting Stitched Oval die.  The shape isn't quite an egg, but gives the illusion with the layers of flowers and embellishments.  I embossed the back of my Floral Daisy Egg with Tea Stain Distress Embossing powder so that the flourish would be on the right side of my card.

I popped up the foreground and layered with other designer papers.  I embellished with one special and two flat Prima flowers.  I love using my flowers this way because it saves money and lets the special flower take center stage.

The little lamb is a very old PSX stamp that a friend was getting rid of.  I just had to rescue him and was thankful to add him to this design.  A row of pearls and a simple cut from the Believe die in white completes the look.

  2. Love all the little effects you put on this card from the pearls to the flowers with the sparkly edges. They are little piece of eye candy for the wonderful larger, layered part of the card with the pretty gold egg.
