Pretty Holiday Ornaments

Hello Everyone!
Darlene with you today, stepping in for team mate Samantha who is up to her neck in moving boxes!   She will be returning with more of her beautiful creations as soon as she can find her crafting stuff!  LOL

With the holidays just around the corner, it's time to get those holiday cards started!  Tutti Designs July Release is filled with a variety of gorgeous dies to make that task much easier for you!  For instance, just as I have done today ... only one die, some pretty paper and another holiday card is ready to go.

The die I'm using today is the Tutti Designs 'Framed Ornaments' #358

No automatic alt text available.

To create my colorful background paper, I have used the new Tim Holtz Oxide inks.  All you need is ink, sponges (to apply the color), spray bottle of water and heat gun.   Quick, easy and gave me the holiday colors I wanted to use to die cut my Framed Ornaments.

I decided to use the gold foiled paper as my mat instead of the entire background.  By simply gluing this beautiful die cut to a scrap piece of white card stock, I was able to cut off the excess and give my ornaments a white background which I think really made them POP.

A little white gel pen doodling on the sides of my green background panel and gold sequins here and there around the ornaments and my card is ready to share holiday good wishes with friends & family.

Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all of the fabulous dies in this latest release.  And, of course, you'll want to browse through the store to see what other dies you need to have on hand.
