Hi everyone!
Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing an Easter card today. I love sending out Easter cards...actually I love making them too.
With Tutti's Happy Easter die it sure is easy! The die is SO intricate and beautiful:
I cut a bunch out in various colors and then cut out the middle words on some of them:
For this card I used the lavender for the base and cut out yellow words to add on top. I also cut out some green paper for a base behind the words for a bit more color.
Then I cut a butterfly off of the butterfly strip, added some tiny pearls in its center and adhered it onto the Happy Easter circle.
Then I adhered the whole thing onto a scalloped stitched nesting rectangle:
I LOVE these rectangles by the way! I can't tell you how many times I reach for them. They seem to always be just the right size I need, and I really like the cute stitches with the tiny scallops.
Here's a list of the dies I used:

DeleteLovely Easter card, Laurie! I totally agree on the rectangle die. The collection of shaped dies and different edges are always on my craft table. I love all of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki!
DeleteWay to stretch your dies! I love how you used just the butterfly from the butterfly strip. Gee, I could do that!
