Home Sweet Home Decor

Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing a fun home decor  piece that I created using a new die now available at the Amazing Tutti Designs!

I really wanted to take a break from cards this week and create a fun project with this amazing die.

This adorable die is very detailed as can be seen in the close up below.

To create this fun wall decor piece, I started with some paper, a balsa wood lid, and some jute.

I cut the round from the paper and adhered it inside the lid. Next, I drilled two holes for hanging and then strung the jute through them and around the inside of the lid. I used a dries clear glue to adhere the jute as I wrapped it. Next I allowed this to completely dry for adding other elements.

Using white light weight chipboard I cut two of the Winter Cardinal dies out and adhered them together to make the thicker and sturdy. I left the edges of the branches free of glue so they could be flared out a bit.

Finally I added lots of flowers that matched the paper and a cut out sentiment of
 "Home Sweet Home".
All of these elements were adhered to the frame using heavy medium. Finally the beautiful bird die cut was added on top of the flowers to really make it the star of my piece!

Thank You for visiting my post today!! I hope you are inspired to get out your tools and supplies and create!!
