Scrappy Christmas Card

Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a card I created using mostly scraps from my Christmas paper bin along with some amazing Tutti Designs Dies!

The dies used here are:

If you are anything like me as paper crafter you have scraps! I try to use all of my scraps in my work rather than wasting. This card is the perfect example of how you can use them.

First, I have taken a kraft card base that measured 5 X 7 and gathered some of my christmas papers out of my scrap bin. I didn't find any that would work exactly with this size so I cut the card to 5 X 6 1/2. This happens, do not be afraid to cut your base to fit the scraps youd like to use!
Starting on the inside of the card, I cut two different patterned papers as mats and adhered them. Next, I used the second largest Cross Stitch Circle die to cut one from a square of ivory cardstock. (scrap). I adhered that to the top of the mats and moved to the front of the card.

I just love the detail of the die! It adds such a nice look to my scraps!

For the card front, I roughed the edges of a patterned scrap of the same green dot I used inside and adhered to the front. Next, I cut two more of the circles, one the same size as the inside from ivory and one the next size down from a dark red scrap.I found a scrap with a santa picture and fussy cut it to fit just underneath the green and adhered it. I then added the "have a Merry Christmas" die cut (cut from solid green cardstock scrap).
***Extra tip*** When I cut using dies, if there are small parts such as stars, hearts, etc. I like to keep them in a container to use in things such as shakers or as embellishments as I did here with the snowflake bits.

Thank You for visiting my post today!! I hope you are inspired to get out your tools and supplies and create!!

Jenn
