CAS Watercolor Mountainscape Die Cut Card

Hello!  Autumn with you for a Friday post featuring our new Landscape Stained Glass die cut.  My teammates have been using the new stained glass die collection in some amazing ways!  I really wanted to use the die as a "paint by number."

I ran my paper through my machine on top of my die so that the pieces would stay inside the die when I removed it from my machine.  While everything was still in place, I applied tape to the back of the paper pieces until the entire back was covered.  This gave me the perfect alignment of my inner parts.  I watercolored the little pieces, then glued the "solder" or white section back in place.  I added Glossy Accents to the black and brown frame and layered over some inky card.  I hope you will give this technique a try.  Thanks for your visit!

  2. This is stunning, Autumn! I pictured these dies as a paint by number when I first saw them. You have done a beautiful display of color. It looks like a water color painting!
