Vicki here again today...not my usual day, but happy to be posting a project with yet another of the elegant stained glass panel dies from Tutti Designs' October 2017 release.
And, it's Black Friday! An important shopping day for many holiday shoppers including online purchases. So, it's a great day to check out the Tutti Designs Store and add to your stash.
My card features the exquisite Hummingbird Stained Glass Panel Die.
"Peace"
In order to replicate a real stained glass window, I used a dark gray cardstock that was the color of solder to cut the die image.
The A2 card base was made using an embossing folder inked with Coral Distress Ink.
I used Peacock Blue and Pearl alcohol inks to create a background for the window.
I die cut some green, teal and red to piece in the areas for the hummingbird.
The glass effect over the image is a piece of acetate cut to size. The frame was made using two different sizes of rectangle dies and adhered around the window.
The sentiment is double cut, one as a shadow, from the Snowglobe Expressions Set.
