Holiday Wishes!

Happy Monday, the week before Christmas, Tutti friends!
Vicki here with an easy, peasy last minute gift idea using two new dies from the latest Tutti Design November 2017 release... Cross Stitch Nesting Ovals and Dotted Nesting Circles.  If you haven't seen this new release of dies, get over to the Tutti Store now and check them out!  It's a great collection of basic shapes with scallop stitched, cross stitch and dotted design edging.  You'll want them all!

Do you like to have something on hand for unexpected guests?  Well, this is an inexpensive and fun gift to make and give.  An altered chocolate bar!  Who doesn't like chocolate?

"Holiday Wishes" for you from me!
I bought a 7 oz. Hershey bar and chose coordinating holiday papers from my stash.

Next, I measured the width of 7 1/2" for the base cardstock and subtracted 1/2" for the matching patterned paper.  This allowed for 1/4" matting on each end of the candy bar.

I cut the papers and added double sided tape to one end.

I wrapped the cardstock base around the bar and then layered the patterned paper over it.  The seams are on the back side of the bar.

I embellished the front side of the bar using the Dotted Nesting Circles and Wreath with Bow Die.  I cut the wreath from red cardstock also and fussy cut just the bow to layer over the green bow on the wreath.  Red pearls as holly berries complete the design.

How fun is this? And, because I have these papers in a  6 x 6 collection pad, I made a matching card to go along with the bar!

I used the same red cardstock as matting and used the Cross Stitch Nesting Ovals for the sentiment focal point on the card.

I love this festive little gift and card set!
