Hi everyone!
Laurie here from Stamping Up North sharing a winter card today. I've had my eye on this awesome die from Tutti called,"Snow globe Scene" for awhile!
It's SO much fun!
I cut it out in silver, red, blue, green and white.
Then I cut pieces off and adhered them onto the globe, using the white as a base. First I cut the top in blue so I could inlay the other pieces into it. Then I cut off the bottom of the silver globe to add for the base.
After inlaying, I splattered some white paint mixed with a bit of water off an acyrlic block with a toothbrush.
I tied on a string bow with a couple of red bells.
After the holidays are over, I like to make winter cards to use as Thank you's for Christmas gifts. So I made several of these, some with the jingle bells and some with paper holly on the bow instead so that I could easily put those in the mail.
